Bev McColley
Bev has had a lifelong interest in drawing and painting. She is a realist artist who particularly enjoys depicting wildlife, especially birds. Although she uses oils and watercolour, her preference is for acrylic, pastel and coloured pencil.​Having studied for an Associate Diploma of Visual Arts, Bev has also attended a number of workshops with well known artists, including Colin Johnson, Robert Wade, Paul Margosey and Terry Jarvis.​She has participated in a number of exhibitions, including "Naturally Inspired", "Different Aspects", "Pizza Box Exhibition", "Difficult Pleasures", "Diversity", "Treasures great and small", a solo exhibition of miniatures and a number of joint exhibitions with fellow artists.​Bev is a member of Wilderness Coast Artists and was a guild member of Feastonart Gallery. She has paintings on display in The USA, Canada and Europe. She exhibits at local and district art shows where she has enjoyed some success with sales and awards, including firsts at Lakes Entrance and Stratford district art shows, best in show at Orbost and a highly commended at the prestigious Bright Art Show.​She now works from her home based studio in Lakes Entrance.
